The Witcher and Henry Cavill fans unite to welcome Netflix’s adaptation of the popular game based in the book series by Andrzej Sapkowski announced in San Diego Comicon 2019 with such high hopes. The panel including the major roles as well as casting director from the Netflix show everyone was very enthusiastic about the launch and we are looking forward to it.

A series based on 8 episodes will be launched this year with Henry Cavill starring as the lead protagonist of the Witcher, Geralt of Rivia. As much popular fantasy series(it’s GOT actually) ended this year leaving quite a huge void in the hearts of fans, people are looking to find another great TV show with a promising plot and endearing characters. However being an adaptation of highly popular book series and game trilogy, it is often very hard to fit in the expectations of the audience.

Henry Cavill as the hardcore gaming enthusiast and fitness fanatic fanatic,he is was very much looking forward to playing this role and approached the team several times for the audition, and we are happy he fit in quite well with the character. His willingness to do the role and knowledge about the franchise makes this more promising. Along with Henry Cavill as Geralt, Freya Allen will play Ciri and many others including Anya Chalotra, Adam Levy, Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, MyAnna Buring, Anna Shaffer, etc.

The panel consisted of the lead actors as well as the main writer for Netflix show the Witcher. Actors included Henry Cavill, Freya Allen, Anya Chalotra. The panel was moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown and she interviewed the members of the cast and writers with some very good questions. It was revealed by Lauren who told the casting stories that out of 207 actors, Henry Cavill was selected to bring Geralt of Rivia to life.. Henry narrated a scene from the plot, in the first episode where he as the witcher had heart to heart conversation with his horse and his character feels vulnerable and open to share his emotions, which was a totally profound experience for the actor.

Some of the clips were also showed to the audience. Netflix did not announce a fixed date yet but it is expected to launch at the end of this year.
